Position: Stage design, with Ivana Vukovic

Vertigo is a sensation of dizziness or a feeling of disorientation. Vertigo is a subtype of dizziness in which a patient inappropriately experiences the perception of motion (usually a spinning motion) due to dysfunction of the vestibular system. In this work I’d like to research the relationships between creativity and insanity, fiction and reality.
A hybrid form of performance investigates loop/spinning/circulation from the perspective of movement, sound and visual installation, inviting spectators to witness and experience a poetic and contemplative journey that borders with a drug trip or an exquisite nightmare. Moving bodies, granular synthesis sound technology, fusions of pictures and contradictory universes should create a mutant and saturated composition, forming a vast web of intertwined images whose energy disturbs our habitual codes of interpretation and perception.
